Worth Noting:

  • I know on my own I will never thank her enough, only God can, it is my greatest inspiration to always see and make her proud. Her life alone comes as a motivation. Learn something new out of it.
  • Be an intentional hero determined to transform lives and add value to those who depend on you for a change. It doesn’t matter if anyone recognizes your efforts just know someone out there is taking notes; let their notebooks be filled with the courage to keep up with life.
  • “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world, remains and is immortal.” – Mason Albert Pike. Talents are our treasures that create opportunities for us to survive and transform lives.

Odds never proved to be in favour of anyone that is how the real meaning of life is obtained. Sitting all day long blaming and complaining about it, is the worst self-harm you can do to yourself. Enough with the, “WHY ME?” Feeling sorry for yourself is the worst thing you can ever do to your well-being and prosperity at large.

Some struggles are bound to happen to make you realize who you are. However, that is never the excuse to play the victim and allow yourself to sink in the situation. You are to subdue your hindrance in life to be a legend. Confusion starts the moment you turn a blind eye to what matters. If you can imagine it, you can eventually create it and make it happen. You shouldn’t settle for less than what is definitely yours. Truth be told, you bring positive influence with what you do, not what you intend to do.

It is better to do a small act that brings change than to do nothing. Mind you, what you whisper to yourself has the greatest power and energy to make echoes that radiate a spark of waves in a greater distance than you ever thought it would. Give yourself a chance to make it happen, only you can  do it the way you want it to be.

I believe it is really hard out there but you have to know that situations should never shift you from focus. So often you hear, your strength is shown in times of struggle. Why then, not let your own manifest itself? Flee from feeling sorry for yourself and be free to explore great things that the world has to offer. It is quite easy to find yourself stuck in your head over painful past events but do you realize you are starving yourself of living at the moment? Your past is long gone. You have missed out on a lot of things and opportunities but it now has to come to an end and so are the worries of the mistakes you did.

Talking of mistakes, I remember having a misunderstanding with a close friend, and it appeared to be a great threat to our friendship. I didn’t want to lose her and I could feel she was already judging herself for what had happened. I then decided to write her something to cheer her up. That piece alone helped to change her perspective towards the situation at hand and as a result strengthened our relationship like never before.

It reads, “Either define the moment or the moment will define you.” Walt Whitman I don’t want you to stress yourself much over mistakes that you did. We are all humans and by nature we are bound to make them but what’s important is you always be wise enough to learn something from them so that you become great in one way or another. What’s done is done, and it should never be a reason to keep you awake all night long worrying about it. Never regret  whatever that has happened, keep in mind it was for the best.

However, the important thing is to know what to do next, how to do it and do it so as to prevent the situation from ever getting worse to end up spoiling the future. A lot may be in your mind. On the contrary, just know you will be fine but only when you get to see the good things around you. The love and blessings you have, all that will make you realize that you are very fortunate enough to never worry about anything that you have lost or rather that you don’t have. Indeed you have a big heart and that makes you one of the global icons of tomorrow. You may not have been thinking straight but you should not think with the pain because it will inflict more pain on you rather try to be calm and take a deep breath then after some time you will feel better because if you get stuck in the pain zone, believe me you will always come up with solid evidence of keeping yourself in the track of negativity there by worsening the situation than it was from the start.

You may believe you have ruined the moment or it ruined you but actually if you look with the positive eye, you will see it was the best moment ever. It’s good to be disappointed but you should always hire you “disappointments for an appointment,” suggests Milton Kamwendo. Hence, never feel bad and think of giving up but find a way to make a brand-new ending. Indeed, life is a dish of choice. You are responsible for the ingredients you choose. One of my mentors, Lenon popularly known by his pen name “The Mount” always says, “Success is not something given, it is earned. Work hard and make your dreams come true. “You were never created a failure! Get up, go out there and start to move forward.

Grab those little broken pieces of yourself; teach each piece to love and appreciation life for the better keeping in mind that the greatest inspiration to keep on going is in love and appreciation. Remember, “You have to kiss a thousand frogs before you kiss the prince.” Why are you giving up only on kissing the last frog? Stand strong and get back on the track, the race is still on. It is human nature to crave for success.

We all want to feel important and have others to recognize our existence. Standing tall is the only way to achieve that life filled with significance because people are inspired by what you do on a regular basis. How you carry out and handle your own life situations is what gives them a push to keep on going. So often we relate to celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs, and Robert Kiyosaki one of my favourites, (the author of Rich dad poor dad) only to mention a few, when addressing motivational topics, but why turn a blind eye to those uncelebrated and unspoken heroes we stay with? I believe there is an icon in each one of us though not all of us end up popular.

Talking of unknown legends, a great woman of solid virtue and a mother to me and my siblings deserves much appreciation. Being the firstborn in a family of seven, adding to it, being a girl child, it was never easy. It so happened my biological mother passed away to top it off my father had lost his job, what is a circumstance right? My brother and I, we were only eleven and six respectively.

We had to continue with school and our mother’s elder sister took us in. Back then I was young and all immature, being under her care appeared a right to me but no, it was out of her love for us. She became our source of comfort and strength. All her life, she has been dedicating it to serve others and bring hope to them in their time of need. Wonderful Maganda is the woman who is more than a mother, friend and a lifetime virtuous teacher to me. It is through her that I am a wonder on it’s on and got to learn that in life people can have hope for a better tomorrow but as long as you sit down and relax without taking any action to bring the change that make a difference in their lives, nothing will happen.

I know on my own I will never thank her enough, only God can, it is my greatest inspiration to always see and make her proud. Her life alone comes as a motivation. Learn something new out of it. Be an intentional hero determined to transform lives and add value to those who depend on you for a change. It’s doesn’t matter if anyone recognizes your efforts just know someone out there is taking notes; let their notebooks be filled with the courage to keep up with life. “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world, remains and is immortal.” – Mason Albert Pike. Talents are our treasures that create opportunities for us to survive and transform lives.

Develop everything that you are good at and use it as strength to win souls. Proverbs 22:9 He who has a generous  eye will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor. Dig rich graves in people’s hearts as you interact with them. Legends have something to always leave you holding on to, right there, exactly where you are, live intentionally at your best abilities and effectiveness. Start with little but keep your vision big.

Be challenged to share your real life stories to inspire someone. John C Maxwell suggests that the stories we tell best are the ones we have lived. It’s time we take it upon ourselves to create the actions towards the change we want to see. “All it takes for problems to prevail is when good people do nothing,” be inspired to be a difference maker.

Faith upon the edges.

Things get all tough I know,

hard I felt it,

disappointing I was there,

Appear still, I once struggled

But they never kill.

I ain’t trying to act smart,

I agree its never easy,

But it never stopped to work for the best,

Does it?

Pain rhymes with gain,

No hero stand without scars,

Within lies something great,

That thing nothing can conquer,

Yours appears stronger.

Winning doesn’t necessarily mean its over,

At times its living with it,

That spirit to face and accept reality,

Without losing the hope identity.

Wish you knew,

How much treasure you possess?

Yes, you!

Something bigger than gold,

Greater than positions,

Its your mind!

Where to begin,

I don’t know,

But I know death is nothing,

Compared to what you can do,

I mean the strength in you,

Will survive against all odds.
