PERSON RECEIVING A VACCINE

By: Evangelist Thokozani Ndinisa

Worth Noting:

  • If you have not vaccinated yet, what is it that’s stopping you from taking the vaccine? Some learn to overcome your fears and remember no weapon that is formed against your health will prevail, which God didn’t permit to take your life.
  • Don’t be afraid of death because death happens on Its time and no one can stop his or her time from happening when death visits us. Remember, no one knows his or her time to depart in this world.
  • No one has died from taking the vaccine in our society and country, South Africa so far. I did not die after taking my vaccine on the 06 of November 2021.

I heard numerous false rumors about the covid~19. Yes, many people did not trust the vaccine, neither did they trust that people were not going to die once they took the vaccine.

Some of the false rumors I heard about the vaccine:

■ It was a sign of the mark of the beast

■ It’s going to depopulate African people

■ It’s designed to kill most African people

■ It’s not healthy for human beings

■ It has negative side effects after you took it

■ It’s going to affect human beings DNA systems

■ It’s going to serve as a mark that is going to help someone to be able to buy in the marketplace

I am aware that they are many false rumors, probably I didn’t mention on the above points. If I may ask what some false news did you receive about the vaccine for COVID-19?

Have you vaccinated yet? If so, how was your personal experience?

My personal experience and insights of how I received my COVID-19 vaccine:

I was going to a mall to buy some shoes for my daughter, as I entered the mall at West gate in Roodepoort. I saw health care workers mobilizing for people to take the vaccine. There was a man who was using a mobile loudspeaker to call people to get COVID-19 vaccine. I pass the man while I was going through inside the mall. As I sanitize my hands at the entrance, I thought of taking the COVID-19 vaccine as soon I am done to do my shopping. So, my shopping was done now I went to the side where people were receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. I joined the Que to register my name, as I have my ID on my wallet. I gave the health care work my full details, including my personal cellphone number so that she can complete my registration for COVID-19 vaccine. The lady asked me if I am going to take one dose or two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, I said “I am going to take one dose, as I wanted to avoid coming for another dose.

Below, here is my proof of the SMS I received on my cellphone:

Dear Thokozani Ndinisa, you have successfully registered on the National Department of Health Electronic Vaccine Data System on 2021-11-06. You will be contacted via SMS regarding next steps. You can book your vaccination here: vaccine.booking.health.gov.za.

This SMS I received it on the spot as I have done to do the registration for COVID-19 vaccine. So, I was taken to another desk where I was going to take my once off single dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The health care worker who injected with the injection was kind and friendly towards me. So, she served me with respect and Humility, she did everything well and when I was done to receive my COVID-19 vaccine. She said “You can seat on the other chair, so I did so as she was monitoring any side effects I had after taking the vaccine. So, I stay there for few minutes which I don’t remember since I was not recording them. When she saw everything is well she said “Sir you are free to go now, we are done! Later on, I received this SMS again :

Dear Thokozani Ndinisa, you received your vaccine on 2021-11-06 at Discoverers CHC. Your Proof of Vaccination Code is…………….. Please keep this code in a safe place, should you be required to verify your vaccination status. To get your vaccination certificate, visit https://vaccine.certificate.health.gov.za!

So, I won’t reveal my vaccination code in this article, since it’s private and confidential to be shared with everyone. So, I followed the link above to get my vaccination certificate. Guess what, I got my COVID-19 vaccine certificate for Department of Health in South Africa on the same day I took the vaccine at West gate mall taxi rank. I downloaded my certificate of COVID-19 online using my cellphone.

Now I would like to tie the knot about this journey of COVID-19 vaccine and share the lessons I have learned about taking the COVID-19 vaccine:

■ Don’t be afraid to make good decisions for your health

■ Don’t have fear of the unknown

■ Pray for the leaders in our generation and trust God in everything you do, as God didn’t make a mistake by allowing some people to be real doctors in our generation

■ Sometimes people can mislead other’s from doing what is right and healthy for their health

■ Don’t have fear when it comes to take of your health

■ The vaccine didn’t kill many African brothers and sisters, also all those who have taken it hasn’t died after receiving their dose

■ The COVID-19 vaccine It’s not the mark of the beast as some religious leaders believe so

■ The COVID-19 vaccine has help some people in our society

■ Sometimes as people we believe too much on fake news and make permanent decisions without having a proof of something, sometimes we don’t have full information if something’s does it truly exist or not!

If you have not vaccinated yet, what is it that’s stopping you from taking the vaccine? Some learn to overcome your fears and remember no weapon that is formed against your health will prevail, which God didn’t permit to take your life.  Don’t be afraid of death because death happens on Its time and no one can stop his or her time from happening when death visits us. Remember, no one knows his or her time to depart in this world. No one has died from taking the vaccine in our society and country, South Africa so far. I did not die after taking my vaccine on the 06 of November 2021.
