Ps Health Susan Mochache has asked public to go for the jab and to stop aside myths that the vaccine has side effects.
This is after allegations from individuals eluding that the jab has side effects like blood cloth and will lead to impotence.
Ps Mochache said that public should go for the vaccine citing that there is nothing to fear, that’s the way to overcome this deadly virus.
She cited that taking the vaccine and following the government guidelines on Covid-19 is the surest way to curb the virus.
“Whether it’s Omicron variant or delta it’s still infecting thousands of people,” she said.
Ms Mochache pleads to the public who have already received the Vivid 19 vaccine to go for a booster shot.
However, she asked public to visit health centers whenever they experience Covid-19 related symptoms for testing and early treatment.
She urged members of the public to continue observing Covid-19 containment measures, irrespective of the availability of the vaccines.
“The Public should continue to wear face masks, clean their hands with soap and water and keep social distancing in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic,” she said.
She was speaking in Mosocho at Kisii County during the burial of Tabitha Ayako wife to Professor Aloise Ayako.
