As by the Federal Bureau of Investigation a serial killer is a person who kills more than one victim in more than one location in a very short period of time. With about 65,000 serial killings each year, the US has over 3000 serial killers and over 10000 victims with them being age 20-29 having a percentage of 27% and followed by age 10-19 with 18%. The mostly used weapons are guns with 43%, strangled with 21.7% and stabbed with 14.8% with the least being car removers being at 0.2%.

Having obsession with fire setting and persistent bed wetting past certain age, to violet behaviors are some on the signs of serial killers. A person having extreme antisocial behavior as lying, aggressiveness, failure to conform to social norms and irresponsibility. They may even often seek to have complete control over another human being and watching them in their personal doing, they love to feel more dominant, this trait is shown to these serial killers at an early age.

With all this you should know that serial killers organize their killings methodically, by mostly abducting victims, killing them in one place and dispose them in another place. Some killers use sympathy to lower their victims while for children they are lowered by use of money and sweets.

Some have objectives to gain power over victims, that way some abuse children sexually making them feel powerless, less important and inadequate.

Some may be forced into killing for payment like the man who recently confessed he was paid to kill. He killed not by will but to be able to get some money to use.

The love for fire is also a sign, mostly young people love fire thus they set anything they came across on fire. This fascination leads them to burning up people to death by tires and even them losing a sense of Uma.

The solutions should be from the individual themselves taking care, they should avoid strangers, never let anyone into their houses or cars, teach children from not accepting food and sweets from strangers, during the night travel with someone as much as possible, always trust your instinct and run away if in danger and hide if it’s far from open place or people while yelling back, for ladies always carry pepper spray with you and if a stranger is strangling to grip you spray it to their eyes.

The Government also has the responsibility of resolving the serial killers’ case faster and provides security to the citizens.
