THE LIVING PAST

Those moments we had

Never been talked

For the agonies we had

Even tears down

they were afraid

Being seen down

Lucky never been heard

The living past indeed.

MAYO, the lioness in a boil

Helping her lovely kids

Her brain been always warned

Stop making them proud…..

He BEATS he INSULTS

Her back his drum he enjoyed

The living past indeed.

From the street

Of the SWEETEST water

The LION was made

Fueling the bitter actions

To our lovely MAMA

Oh woman of SUKUMA

The living past indeed.

We stayed but worried

Where to hide

Our cries and pains

For the nails of the LION

Neighbors accepted to melt

When the LION exists

The living past indeed.

“One day will be the end of torments…”

Like buffalo I replied

My MAMA you will be fine

The little fellow were in dark

When the songs were danced

The song of cries

Made by a lioness

The living past indeed.

NOW the lioness is somewhere

Near the orange trees

Forgetting all the weeps

Made by a cruel lion

The living present to keep
